Leonnie Taylor

Hi, I'm Leonnie, a fully-qualified French and Spanish teacher passionate about language teaching and learning.  I'm enthusiastic, empathetic, and devoted to helping my students succeed and reach their full potential.

I teach KS3 and iGCSE French and Spanish classes online and am praised for the rapport I build with my students, which enables me to create a supportive and encouraging virtual classroom. 

Having studied languages from a young age and being in the education sector since 2015, I have gained a wealth of skills in the classroom, which I now use to deliver fun and engaging language lessons online.  

Language learning should be enjoyable, so I motivate and energise my students by including games and quizzes alongside the course content. This helps with language consolidation and empowers them to feel confident expressing themselves both orally and in writing.

Using a range of teacher-led and student-led tasks, along with ICT software, helps to engage students and aid in language acquisition. I understand the importance of providing live feedback, weekly written feedback, and regular assessment to optimise pupil progress and always ensure that my lessons are tailored to the needs of individual students.

I am truly passionate about languages and committed to helping my students develop a love of them, just like I have.  Languages have the power to open many doors for us, which can lead to inspiring career and life opportunities.
